Whisky River Stud Dogs

Updated: Feb 10

Whisky River Gun Dogs currently has a few great stud males, one of which recently placed at the 2020 National Open Championship. Each offers great temperament while knowing how to turn it on in the field. You can read their snapshot and find a link to their full profile below.

Whisky Rivers Guinness English Springer Spaniel

Guinness is a big beautiful black and white male weighing 50 lbs with an exceptional easy going, fun demeanor and temperament. He was whelped and trained at Whisky River Gun Dogs kennel. Guinness has an incredible nose, smelling birds much sooner than most dogs. He is also an excellent retriever, making incredibly long retrieves. When Guinness smells a bird he has a whole other gear and accelerates into the bird. He lives in the house and has the coveted on off switch. Guinness is one of the type of dogs we are all looking for. He placed 3rd at the 2020 Open National Championship in Utah.

Whisky River Gun Dogs Winston

Winston has an incredible drive to find birds.  He just won’t quit in the field.  But in the house Winston loves to cuddle.  He is black and white and goes about 45 lbs.  Winston took 2nd place at the 2022 Nationals.  Very talented boy.

Whisky River Gun Dogs Wilco

Wilco is a big beautiful boy at 53 lbs.  He runs super hard for being such a big springer and if very flashy.  Wilco won his title at the young age of 2 years old.  He lives in the house with his owners and has an excellent temperament.  I am looking forward to running him this year.
